Glenwood Landing is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in Nassau County, New York. The population was 3,948 at the time of the 2020 census. Glenwood Landing is mainly within the Town of Oyster Bay but a small section in the southwest corner is in the Town of North Hempstead. It is a part of the North Shore School District. It is considered part of the greater Glen Cove area, which is anchored by the City of Glen Cove. == Geography == According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2), all land. == Demographics == === 2010 census === As of the 2010 census, there were 3,379 people residing within Glenwood Landing. the population was 92.9% White, 88.2% Non-Hispanic White, 0.8% Black or African American, 3.7% Asian, 1% from other races, and 1.5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.1% of the population. === 2000 census === As of the census of 2000, there were 3,541 people, 1,262 households, and 1,009 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 3,595.6 inhabitants per square mile (1,388.3/km2).
