A lively dinner event in a large, rustic dining hall in Kings Mills. At the center of the image, a woman wearing a black dress is seated at a round table, laughing with her friends and colleagues. She and her peers appear to be entertained by the handsome close up magician in Kings Mills stood beside her. The entertainer is dressed in a black suit with a white dress shirt. so I did mentalism.

Fortunately every mentalism effect worked exactly as expected.

Unfortunately, only the audio was captured from that performance which is hardly worth putting on the website.

On the other side of the gaffed coin, there are a couple clips from that first dinner party. The occasion was not a Halloween party or a holiday party. It was the inauguration of an adopted child into a family. The baby was there and I knew I was competing with a different sort of magic.

Here’s a clip from that party:

A close-up magic performance in a dimly lit Kings Mills environment. A dapper Ohio man in a dark suit with a white dress shirt is performing a magic trick. The Kings Mills magician holds something in his outstretched palm, and his hand is illuminated by a small light source. Standing next to the Kings Mills magician is a lady with blonde hair wearing a zip-up jacket. The volunteer has an expression of wonder or surprise on her face as she watches the magic happening in the Kings Mills performer's hand. The Cincy setting is quite dark, with the main illumination coming from what seems to be a small flashlight or similar light source directed at the magician's hand, held by one or more spectators, creating a dramatic spotlight effect on the performance in Kings Mills. There are other people in the audience partially visible in the background, suggesting this Kings Mills Ohio entertainment is taking place at some kind of event or gathering where the magician is performing close-up magic for small groups of spectators.

A great time was had by all. Wish I could’ve stayed longer but I had a show after that an hour and a half away, so I had to leave on the dot. The one trick I wish I knew was being in two two cities at once.

Going back nearly a century further, in the early 1670s, French explorers trekked through the valley of Mississippi, assessing the acres of what would become St Louis, Missouri. As one spoke of the French Louisiana, La Salle planted his flag in St Louis in the name of France,60 months after the French foray.

Barely over half a century after the turn of the 18th century, Pierre Lepew—with his son—established St. Louis in 1763.

As a bonus addon to the Louisiana Purchase, St. Louis was auctioned to the United States of America in 1802 for three dollars and twenty-two pennies, at which point, into the city floated steamboats. The steamboats were crucial because it connected every eastern trade post with New Orleans.

St. Louis officially became a city in 1824,one year after Missouri was incorporated as a state.

On account of its crucial ports, St. Louis became the John Goodman of the United States of America.
