A close-up magic performance in a dimly lit Kenilworth environment. A dapper Illinois man in a dark suit with a white dress shirt is performing a magic trick. The Kenilworth magician holds something in his outstretched palm, and his hand is illuminated by a small light source. Standing next to the Kenilworth magician is a lady with blonde hair wearing a zip-up jacket. The volunteer has an expression of wonder or surprise on her face as she watches the magic happening in the Kenilworth performer's hand. The The Windy City setting is quite dark, with the main illumination coming from what seems to be a small flashlight or similar light source directed at the magician's hand, held by one or more spectators, creating a dramatic spotlight effect on the performance in Kenilworth. There are other people in the audience partially visible in the background, suggesting this Kenilworth Illinois entertainment is taking place at some kind of event or gathering where the magician is performing close-up magic for small groups of spectators.

About Kenilworth, IL

Kenilworth is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States, 15 miles (24 km) north of downtown Chicago. As of the 2020 census it had a population of 2,514. It is the newest of the nine suburban North Shore communities bordering Lake Michigan, and is one of those developed as a planned community. In 2018, Kenilworth was the eighth wealthiest community in the United States, and the wealthiest in the Midwestern United States. In December 2019, Forbes magazine listed Kenilworth village as the wealthiest zip code in the state of Illinois, with a median home sale price of $1,385,000 as of October 2019. According to the United States Census Bureau, median household income exceeded an estimated $250,000 in 2022. == History == Kenilworth was founded in 1889 when Joseph Sears purchased 223.6 acres of land consisting of several farms between the Chicago and North Western Railroad and Lake Michigan for $150,300. Sears and several of his associates formed The Kenilworth Company to execute his suburban dream. Sears founded the town on four principles: "Large lots, high standards of construction, no alleys, and sales to Caucasians only." The Caucasians only provision intended the exclusion of all non-whites and Jews as well. Sears later used an informal poll to amend this provision so that live-in servants of color were allowed.
