A middle deal is a false deal in which the dealer draws a card from the center of the deck while appearing to deal fairly from the top. It is rarer and harder than a second or bottom deal, and gambling demonstrators use it to show how a stacked or marked card can be delivered from deep in the pack. Like other false deals, it depends on matching the rhythm and sound of an honest deal so nothing draws the eye to the middle of the deck.
