A classic palm is a concealment in which a coin is pressed into the hollow of the palm and held there by the fleshy pads at the base of the thumb and the little finger. When the grip is right, the fingers stay relaxed and the hand looks empty. It is the basic palm of coin magic, used for vanishes, productions, and secret transfers from hand to hand. Any tension in the fingers gives it away.
